Biography of
First Lady Toya Dailey-Smith

Lady Toya Dailey-Smith was born the last of four children to Bishop George Dailey and Lady Juanita Dailey on April 8, 1970. She was educated in various public school systems during the course of her primary and secondary school years. She graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and from Walden University with a MBA, having a concentration in Human Resources. In her secular vocation, she has worked as a professional in Human Resources for over 25 years, and is certified as a SHRM-CP by the Society of Human Resource Management, and as a SPHR by the Human Resources Certification Institute.

She became a licensed minister in 1997. In 1999, her father, Bishop G. R. Dailey, handed the mantle to pastor the New Bethel House of Prayer congregation to her husband Bishop Michael Smith. Jointly, they have worked to cultivate and grow the seed of ministry God placed in their hands. She continues serving the church in various capacities within the ministry of administration at the local, state and national levels.

In 2012, the Lord inspired Lady Dailey-Smith to assist her husband with spreading the gospel to an audience broader than the four walls of their local church. Through that inspiration the New Bethel House of Prayer Media Ministry was birthed. The ministry has been able to broadcast weekly via live streaming to a diverse audience of people, and continues to expand its reach.

She is inspired by 1 Corinthians 15:57-58 - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

WHO WE ARE - WHAT WE DO

We are committed to service through teaching and preaching of the word of God, and encouraging the application of the Word through faith. The Bible, from Genesis to Revelations, is the foundation for all teaching at New Bethel House of Prayer Inc.  We recognize and emphasize the relevance of both Old and New Testament principles in modern day worship and service to God.  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness(2 Tim 3:16).  The church is led through the guiding biblical principle "with God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37).
