Micah 6:8
Father, our hearts are heavy as we observe the brokenness in our world. Our bodies ache for justice and equity for all people to be established in this lifetime. We are not ignorant to the sin that infects the hearts of so many, even those in the church. However, we know that we must not only fight to not be tainted by the world but also to bring Your wholeness and peace to it through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Lord, open our eyes to who You truly are and what justice, peace, and equity mean to You. We ask that You guide us in obedience to the instruction provided in Your Word. God - mold our hearts to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You each day. Help us to put aside our agendas: social, denominational, and political; help us to be whole-heartedly dedicated to advocating for Your Kingdom work to be done here on earth. In Your holy and precious name Jesus, Amen.
